Our work is focused on providing resources and advocating for public schools.
We work alongside teachers, administrators, and families to address the unique needs of each school community, ensuring our programs are relevant and beneficial. Our goal is to ease some of the challenges public schools face by offering practical support and resources that make a difference in the lives of students.

Sunlight's Origins
The Sunlight Initiative was born when we saw our own school lose funding, leading to cuts in programs that had once sparked curiosity and encouraged deeper learning. We realized that without support, many students would miss out on experiences that could inspire them and help them grow. Determined to make a difference, we set out to create an initiative that could bring these valuable opportunities back to public schools.
Together, we worked to build The Sunlight Initiative from the ground up. By partnering with schools and adapting their programs to meet specific needs, we sought to make learning accessible and engaging once again. Today, The Sunlight Initiative reflects our belief that every student deserves the chance to explore, discover, and grow, regardless of the resources their school has.
